If you are in any business where prospective customers search online for what you offer, you can easily outcompete those who serve the same market. In other words, you can leave your competitors behind without advertising, hiring an expensive SEO professional, or spending more than you do now.
How can you be sure that it is possible to outcompete almost any local business or competitors in a vertical market? That is a valid question with an interesting answer:
WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, Joomla, Drupal, Weblow, and other Content Management Systems for creating websites serve 57% of all websites globally, including most of the businesses that are not large. Of the remaining 43% of websites, most belong to larger businesses that can afford the heavy expense of customization.
As of 2025, the share of fully customized websites is only 2.7%. They use some combination of JavaScript, HTML, and, if needed, APIs to do what CMS systems do with automations that require a massive amount of website-slowing code.
Way more than half of these 2.7% belong to large companies, which means that somewhere around 1% of the small to medium-sized businesses have lean, mean websites that load quickly because they do not rely on the speed sucking code I've already mentioned.
You need to understand the profound effect this page load speed has on the success of your business.
First, in 2010, Google explicitly stated that Page Load Speed is a ranking factor and extended that to mobile websites in 2018. And the faster loading of websites that I will detail in a moment, dramatically reduces the bounce rate of site visitors, which increases the conversion rate.
Second, any CMS website, no matter how well optimized by an SEO professional or gifted DIY website designer, takes twice as long to load on desktop and 3 to 5 times as long on mobile. That means, if you adopt the system introduced by this video, you will outcompete at least 99% of your competitors!
