Small Business Entrepreneurs —the founders, like me— are the ones who pay for or pay the price for technlogy and the mistakes nerds make. WordPress (WP) was definetly one of those mistakes, and it is costly.

The idea of WP was to allow entrepreneurs to create web pages without learning code, whiuch sounded great on paper.

When WordPress started becoming popular, those who were not using it bragged about not needing to know or use HTML. Later on, when their use became popular, the code that WP users avoided included JavaScript and CSS, too. But the use and eventual popularity of WP came with a couple of unintended drawbacks.

WP web pages are relatively slow to load, which is a ranking factor on Google and other search engines, plus WordPress websites eat up storage on web servers.

Put another way, Wordpress is a resource hog, and plugins add even more even more code, which is often referred to as plugin bloat.

When you create content to attract visitors and they bounce because of your slow web page, it hurts. Research has shown that they tire of waiting and they bounce back to their search results to choose another listed website.

Since static HTML web pages oad much faster and take up less server storage they cost lesss to host. That is when I started seriously thinkin about breathing life into TheSpeedOfProfit.com

I thought, "Why not use the savings to offer more free services and eliminate the cost of plugins?" So I did.

In our content, we will explain the true cost of running sites with WP, Wix, Squarespace and others and how TSoP eliminates those expenses, while serviving much faster web pages.
